Investments in Ukrainian minerals

Investment in minerals of Ukraine

Ukraine is a country with great potential in the subsoil resources market. Of 120 types of minerals consumed globally, almost 20,000 deposits and manifestations of 117 types of minerals have been identified in Ukraine.

Deposits of manganese, iron, titanium, zirconium and uranium ores are actively developed in Ukraine. Ukraine also has large reserves of non-metallic minerals, such as limestones, dolomites, potassium salts, kaolins, refractory and bentonite clays, sulfur, graphite, decorative stone, gypsum and concrete fillers.

Extraction and use of mineral raw materials accounts for over 40% of the country's industry and up to 20% of its labor resources. Numerous mineral deposits and favorable geographical location in the center of Europe make Ukraine attractive for foreign investment in mineral production.

Development of global economy is characterized by ongoing increase in the consumption of natural resources. More than 100 billion tons of mineral raw materials and fuel are extracted from the entrails of the earth annually. Global demand for mining products remains consistently high.

POTENTIAL WITH US

Kislotoupor Company is ready to offer several profitable and promising projects of investment in subsoil resources of Ukraine.

We have more than 20 years of expertise in investment generation, wide geography of business cooperation and reliable reputation both in Ukraine and abroad.

The main specifics of mining companies as investment objects are as follows:

• the term of deposits development directly depends on the volume of mineral reserves and annual production capacity;

• availability of mandatory licenses and permits for subsoil use issued by the state (special authorization for subsoil use, mining allotment certificate, quarry project, right to use land);

• a mining enterprise requires significant capital investment, including for processing of natural resources;

• complexity and possible instability of mining and geological conditions of the deposit;

• technical and technological risks of mineral production.

Both domestic and foreign investors have displayed an increased interest in the development of mineral deposits in Ukraine year after year.

Organization of the process of investing in the mining industry has its own specific features. Potential investors cannot always comprehensively assess the prospects and possible risks associated with the development of deposits, extraction of raw materials and their processing.

Subject to a systematic approach to the assessment of mineral deposits, investment in production and subsequent processes of this business are able to generate highly liquid assets and bring substantial profit to investors.

Over the time of its activities, Kislotoupor carried out comprehensive studies and evaluation of more than 50 types of minerals.

Using its own expertise in the mining industry, Kislotoupor helps perform comprehensive assessments of investment projects, minimize possible risks already at the initial stages of the project consideration, create an understanding of return on investment and offer an optimal financial model, including possible forms of financing.

Metallic

minerals

Metallic minerals is basis of the mineral resource base of Ukraine.

Ukraine has large reserves of manganese, iron, titanium, zirconium and uranium ores.

Deposits of copper, gold, chromium, nickel, beryllium, lithium, vanadium, scandium, lead, zinc, aluminum, niobium, tantalum, strontium, hafnium, cadmium, silver, and rare earths have been explored with estimated industrial reserves.

This group of minerals can be used in metallurgy, mechanical engineering, missilery.

Non-metallic

minerals

Ukraine has large reserves of non-metallic minerals, such as limestones, dolomites, potassium salts, kaolins, refractory and bentonite clays, sulfur, graphite, decorative stone, gypsum and concrete fillers.

More than 4.5 thousand deposits of non-metallic mineral resources have been explored in Ukraine; in another 360 ore deposits, non-metallic materials have been assessed as related minerals.

This group of mineral raw materials can be used practically without further processing and it's used in such areas as construction, metallurgy, agriculture, radio electronics, and paper industry.
